Father's Day: Can you spare a dime?

10 miles!
If Dime means TEN MILES, then absolutely!
Our pace group completed 10 miles along the C&O canal on a sultry Father's day morningtoday. Back to that in a minute...

On this Father's day, I want to wish my 2 heroes: Dad---Jerry Cole and Grandfather Mike Cohen a happy day! Love you both!

And I want to thank Rachel and my four beautiful children for the best Father's day gift ever: their support and love as I continue my training. Love you all!

Back to today:

10 hot miles. 7 of it took it on. 7 of us did it! 5 miles up and 5 miles back. With the exception of one "Walk for Mankind" about 25 years ago, that is farther than I have I ever gone. Here are some pix:

This week, my travels take me to San Jose and Dallas where I will be running my 45 minute sessions and then on to next week and 12 miles!
